Factor Fox

Factor Fox Web/Mobile application
Company: TBS Factoring Company LLC.
Role: UI/UX designer

2023 - 2024

Core Goal

The TBS Charlotte, NC branch requested our team to build a new modern version of their “Factor Fox” client portal.

Research & Design Style

To build the new version of the application, our team focused on identifying improvements needed to enhance the user experience.

We focused on:

  • Easy navigation that is suited to each platform.

  • Using consistent actions and user flow.

  • Breaking down forms and data for users to easily comprehend and interact.

  • Consolidating data appropriately to reduce actions/pages/scrolling for the user.

Project Outline & Flow

Our project lead set a schedule for 6 months in which we would design and build each section based on the most integral features for the web portion. The plan was pitched to the stakeholders and after approval we started a newly implemented work process headed by our scrum master.

Workflow Process:

Step 1 - Business Analyst consults with Project Owner and relevant departments to collect necessary information pertaining to an assigned section of the website scheduled in the sprint.

Step 2 - Business Analyst creates Jira tickets with all details/instructions logged and assigns tickets to UI/UX Designer.

Step 3 - UI/UX Designer creates wireframes and organizes wireframes in a detailed user flow. Tickets are then re-assigned to the lead developer.

Step 4 - Lead developer breaks down tickets into tasks and delegates tasks to both front and back-end developers.

Step 5 - Developers complete builds and assign tickets to QA.

Step 6 - QA compares designs and user flows to website builds to check consistency and modern design standards.

Step 7 - QA completes assigned tasks, and the scrum master closes the relevant tickets.
